Overcoming Interview Objections?
Below is an objection I have heard in an interview setting. Could anyone help and give some ideas on overcoming it?
Q: I am interviewing a lot of people for this position so I will not be making a decision today.
A: ???
This is pretty much a statement that says "sell me now or never". Any ideas?
Thx.
This question was asked by the hiring manager, after the numerous screening interviews.
This is where I would have done my homework on the company, so I would know what they were looking for. I would ask, however, what type of employee he/she was looking for, and how I could best fit that ideal of theirs. This is also where I would point out my strengths, knowledge, skills, and abilities to get the job done. I would also state how I felt I was the best person for the job, because: list your reasons here. Then I would state how I would give 150% to make the company succeed and ask for the job. After the interview, I’d send a thank you card to the interviewer.
i sell vacation packages over the phone how can i make more sales and deal with the no’s?
I work for a resort. I make outbound calls to customers in hopes that they will purchase a vacation package. How can i make more sales what techniques or tips can i use to always make a sale and are there any free online courses that can help me overcome objections?
Yes, I have met, on the telephone, some of you people. People in general, who want something will go and find it. They don’t like having something that they weren’t considering pushed at them especially when they are in a rush to go to the toilet. If you want to sell holidays why don’t you go and work for a travel agent. You will then know that anybody who comes in the shop wants a holiday? More to the point, why did I get so many telesales people ringing me, when I lived in England, when I had an ex-directory number?
how do salesmen overcome objections?

how do i overcome objections to selling home owners insurance?
You need to ask the objector if they realize what is at stake in the event of a total loss.
In other words, are they prepared to pay their own money (and lots of it) to replace their dwelling and all the stuff inside of it in the case of a fire, hurricane, tornado, earthquake or some other calamity that results in them losing everything they own?
I like to tell people…..take a good hard look at what you are wearing right now….then I take a very long pause…and remind them to get a good look at it…..then I say….now imagine that what you are wearing right now is all that have left of what you own. Your house and everything in it, except the clothes you are now wearing, is all you have left.
How much would you pay to protect that?
Any different training ideas for sales assistants on a shoe department?
Already done the basics, customer service, how a shoe fits etc.
Anything a bit more different and fun?
Attracting more customers might be your focus.
Is personal Training mostly a sales job?
I like working out, I am in great shape, and I like training other people…and I am thinking of becoming a personal trainer. But I don’t want to be doing 90% selling of gym memberships and 10% helping people. Does anyone have personal training experience and could you please share your experience?
Hey,
I’ve been working out for over a year now. I am NOT a personal trainer and more like you. I go to 24…
Anyway I do talk to trainers and watch them and it doesn’t seem like its a sales job at all.. you do mainly work with clients. However you might need good selling techniques for them to decide to hire you. So sell yourself basically..
I also do know this other guy who went from front desk, to sales, to personal trainer.
It probably depends on the gym you want to work at as well..
Hope this helped.
